Accessibility Statement
Accessibility is more to me as an expert in Human-Computer Interaction and digital accessibility than just a legal requirement. For me, this is a core value and concern. Although this website is not subject to legal obligations under the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), the national legislation implementing Directive 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council, I have decided to publish this statement and to continuously work on improving accessibility.

This website is not subject to the obligations of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG). This statement is provided voluntarily to demonstrate best-practice standards in digital accessibility.
Conformance Status
This website meets most of the requirements of the Accessibility Standard (EN 301 549) and follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) at Level AA.
Tested and functional features include in particular:
- Semantic HTML structure and logical document order
- Responsive design for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Sufficient colour contrasts (minimum 4.5:1 for text)
- Size flexibility (up to 200% zoom without loss of functionality)
- Keyboard navigation on all interactive elements
Known Limitations
The following aspects are known to me and will be gradually improved:
Alt text for images:
Alternative text is present on the website but is currently being optimised. Currently, descriptions are available in German; English descriptions are in progress. Quality and expressiveness are continuously improved.
Multilingual support:
Whilst the website is available in German and English, alternative text and some labels are currently only available in German.
Comprehensive screen reader testing:
Comprehensive automated and manual testing with commonly used screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) is on the agenda.
Planned Improvements

- Optimisation and completion of all alternative text (including English versions)
- Comprehensive screen reader testing and resulting adjustments
- Regular review of WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance
